The Cold Call Challenge: terms
The promoter is ForwardX Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14890762), registered office 61 Bridge Street, Kington, England, HR5 3DJ, which runs ColdCall Simulator. Questions: buildova@buildova.io.
1. When
The challenge opens at the start of 18 September 2026 and closes at the end of 31 October 2026, UK time. Calls made outside those dates do not count.
2. Who can enter
Anyone aged 18 or over, anywhere, except the promoter and anyone who helped build or run the challenge. One entry per person. It is free to enter and no purchase is needed: the challenge call is free. You need a ColdCall Simulator account and to accept its licence agreement.
3. How it works
You make one practice cold call to an AI prospect: your challenge call. For a new member this is their free call. Afterwards you choose whether to enter: you enter by posting your score to the leaderboard under a screen name you choose. If you do not post it, your score stays private and you are not entered. Every entrant gets the same difficulty and the same prospect mood, with no coach, for up to five minutes. The prospect is someone who could plausibly buy what you say you sell. The call is scored out of 100 automatically, from the transcript, against the same criteria for everyone: the opening, handling brush-offs, asking for the meeting, agreeing a time, and delivery.
You get one counted attempt. A call that ends in the first twenty seconds, or on which we could not hear you, is not an attempt and you may go again. Any further calls you make are practice and do not change your challenge score.
4. The winner
The entrant with the highest score when the challenge closes wins. If scores are tied, the entrant who made their scored call first wins. The top prize is decided by skill alone. The promoter's decision is final.
The prize is ten hours of call time (the $197 pack) on ColdCall Simulator, added to the winner's account. It cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. We will email the winner within seven days of the close; if they do not reply within fourteen days the prize passes to the next highest score. We will publish the winner's leaderboard name and score.
5. The draw
There is a second prize, decided by chance. Every entrant with a counted, scored attempt on the leaderboard when the challenge closes, other than the winner of the top prize, is entered once into a prize draw, whatever their score. No purchase is needed and nothing extra has to be done to be in it. Within seven days of the close, one entrant is picked at random by a computer process that gives every eligible entrant an equal chance. The prize is ten hours of call time (the $197 pack) on ColdCall Simulator, added to their account; it cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. We will email them within seven days of the close; if they do not reply within fourteen days we will draw again from the remaining entrants. We will publish their leaderboard name.
6. Sharing reward
While the challenge is open, anyone who publishes their own public post about the challenge on LinkedIn or YouTube, with a link to coldcallsimulator.com/challenge, and sends us the link to that post from the email address on their account, receives four hours of call time (the $97 pack), once per person. Your post must say clearly that you were given access in return for sharing it (for example "I was given free access for sharing this"). Posts that are misleading, spam or deleted within seven days do not qualify.
7. Fair play
Entries made with more than one account, by a bot or script, by anyone other than the named entrant, or by exploiting a fault, will be removed, and we may remove any leaderboard name that is offensive, misleading or promotes something. If the challenge cannot run as planned for reasons outside our control we may change or end it, and will say so on the challenge page.
8. Your data
Your chosen leaderboard name, your score and the date are shown publicly. Choose a name you are happy to see there; it does not have to be your real name. Everything else is handled as our Privacy Policy describes, and deleting your account removes your entry from the board.
9. Everything else
The challenge is not sponsored, endorsed or run by LinkedIn, YouTube or Google, and they have no responsibility for it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer.
